🏐 End of Netball Season Celebration 🏐
A fantastic way to round off our netball season, with 20 Year 7 students turning up to represent the school at our final Turn up and Play tournament– an amazing turnout! 🙌
It was brilliant to see all the girls playing with such enthusiasm, working on their skills and developing their understanding of the game, but most importantly… having fun! The energy, teamwork and positivity on display made it a really enjoyable few hours.
We’re so proud of everyone who took part and represented the school so well – a great way to finish the season on a high!
A huge thank you to ALL students who have represented us in netball this season. These events are a real highlight of our jobs as PE teachers, and it makes all the time and effort worthwhile when we see such commitment and dedication from our students.
Now we move on to Rounders and Athletics season… fingers crossed the rain stays away for us and we actually get some sunny weather to stick around! ☔➡️☀️

And that’s the wrap… 🇮🇹🍕⛷️❤️ Yet another amazing SHS Ski Trip is complete. The students have done themselves very proud. We can’t wait to start planning the next one with @select.school.travel
With just the one day left in resort we’ve started to reflect on our time in Artesina. It’s been such a welcoming resort and the students have made memories that will last a lifetime. Everyone feeling very lucky (and tired 😴). We’ll finish with 4 hours of skiing and then snow tubing tomorrow ⛄️⛷️
Yesterday on the ski trip was another memorable day. An action-packed day of skiing with all students skiing down from 2200m along a combination of blue and red runs. The evening saw us enjoy our pizza and disco party where students danced the night away! ⛷️🍕💃🏻🕺
Ski Trip Day Two was even better than yesterday!! ⛷️
All students can now ski and have been up to the top of the mountain and down again numerous times. There are a lot of very happy students (and staff) feeling very proud of themselves; and so they should be! #shsski #artesina
The Ski Trip staff and students celebrated a birthday whilst at dinner last night. The hotel provided a huge cake and we all sang Happy Birthday to Lilly-Grace 🥳🎉🎂 Students were then given ‘snack packs’ provided by the staff 🍫🍬🍿
The Ski Trip has completed its first day of skiing in Artesina, and what a day it was! ⛷️☀️🇮🇹
Lots of sunshine, heaps of resilience and determination and now some very tired students. Time for a rest and to reflect on an amazing day…
