We’ve just taken on Avengers Assemble: Flight Force — and what a ride!
High speed launches, epic twists and a full superhero mission experience… the adrenaline was definitely flowing! 🚀💥
Students absolutely loved it — screams, laughter and plenty of “let’s go again!” as we stepped off.

We’ve arrived at Disneyland Paris — and the magic is real!
From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere has been incredible. Music, colour, excitement and that unmistakable Disney feeling everywhere you look. Students are soaking up every moment — spotting familiar characters, racing towards their favourite rides and taking in the iconic castle standing proudly at the heart of the park.
After days of culture, history and exploration, today adds a whole new kind of unforgettable memory to our Paris adventure.

🇫🇷 SHS On Tour – Shopping at Les Halles 🛍️🇫🇷
We’ve arrived at Westfield Forum des Halles — and the students are absolutely loving it!
After days packed with culture, history and iconic landmarks, this has been a fantastic opportunity to explore, pick up souvenirs and enjoy the atmosphere of one of Paris’ largest shopping centres.
All students are with their teachers in supervised groups and are safe, continuing to represent SHS with maturity, respect and responsibility while out in the city.
A brilliant way to balance cultural experiences with a little well-earned shopping time 🇫🇷✨

🇫🇷 SHS On Tour – Making History in Paris! 🇫🇷✨
A special milestone for this trip — our group are the first ever SHS Paris cohort to visit all three of these incredible landmarks in one tour!
⛪ La Madeleine – The striking neoclassical church designed like a Roman temple, standing proudly in the heart of the city.
💎 Place Vendôme – A beautifully elegant square, famous for its luxury boutiques and the impressive Vendôme Column.
🔺 Louvre Pyramid** (Inverted Pyramid)** – A hidden architectural gem beneath the Louvre, offering a unique and modern contrast to the historic surroundings above.
It’s been fantastic to explore areas of Paris that haven’t featured on previous SHS itineraries — expanding the experience and creating even more memorable moments for our students.

🇫🇷 SHS On Tour – Arc de Triomphe ✔️🇫🇷
We’ve now visited the iconic Arc de Triomphe!
Standing at the top of the Champs-Élysées, this monumental landmark offered another brilliant opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real-world history. From its detailed sculptures to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier beneath it, the significance of the site really brought French history to life.
Students have continued to show maturity and respect while exploring — fantastic ambassadors for SHS once again.

🇫🇷 SHS On Tour – The Ultimate Paris Coach Route 🇫🇷🚌✨
The weather may have changed our plans, but it hasn’t changed our ambition! We’re exploring Paris by coach today, with photo opportunities at some of the capital’s most famous landmarks — all part of Mr Moffat’s expertly planned super route.
Here’s where we’re heading:
🗼 Trocadéro – One of the best viewpoints in Paris, offering stunning postcard views of the Eiffel Tower across the Seine.
🏛 Arc de Triomphe – The monumental tribute to France’s military history, standing proudly at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle.
🇫🇷 Place de la Concorde – The largest square in Paris, home to the famous Luxor Obelisk and steeped in revolutionary history.
⛪ Place de la Madeleine – Dominated by La Madeleine church, designed like a classical Roman temple.
💎 Place Vendôme – An elegant square known for its luxury boutiques and the iconic Vendôme Column.
⛪ Notre-Dame Cathedral – The world-renowned Gothic cathedral on the Île de la Cité, rich in history and architecture.

We’re about to head out on a boat tour along the Seine!
Seeing Paris from the water offers a completely different perspective — gliding past historic bridges, world-famous landmarks and some of the city’s most beautiful architecture. It’s the perfect way to take in the heart of the capital and reflect on everything we’ve explored so far.

We have reached Level 2 of the Eiffel Tower — and something truly magical is happening…
It is snowing in Paris ❄️🇫🇷
For the first time ever on an SHS trip, students are standing high above the city with snow gently falling around them. Watching the Paris skyline turn white from the second floor of one of the world’s most iconic landmarks is a moment none of us will forget.
Students are embracing the magic of the moment — exploring, taking in the breathtaking views, and experiencing Paris in a way that feels almost storybook-perfect.
